Ioan - – Having been best friends with droseesipn for many years, I cannot express to you how sick at heart I am that this illness has claimed a beautiful, wonderful person. Misunderstanding and stigma still exists today, and that can make it difficult for people to reach out and seek help. I have no idea what the circumstance of Jan’s life and battle were I didn’t know her, other than to follow her blog. I will say, though, that it’s entirely possible for someone to hide what they are going through. No one around me knew I spent many months years struggling daily with thoughts of suicide, until well after I got help and was in remission, as I like to put it.I can imagine her family and friends must think if only they could have done something, seen something but sometimes you just don’t, because we can be so good at hiding our pain. Too good at it.Again, I don’t know if that was the case for Jan, I just want the people who knew and loved her to understand that there really might not have been anything they could have done.I’m wishing everyone peace and blessings and love and universal Light.-Kim, the human behind Fuzzy Tales
